CRUSTY-TOPPED MACARONI AND
CHEESE
 
2 c. uncooked macaroni
3 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
2 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Cook macaroni in boiling water, salted, 4 minutes, drain. Blend butter and flour in saucepan; add milk gradually. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until creamy. Add salt, pepper, paprika and 2/3 of the cheese; stir until cheese is melted.

Turn macaroni into well-greased 2 quart casserole; pour sauce over macaroni. Stir; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
