BACON AND CHESTNUTS 
1 lb. bacon
2 cans water chestnuts
1/2 c. catsup
2/3 c. sugar

Cut chestnuts in half. Wrap 1/2 strip bacon around each chestnut, hold together with toothpick. Bake at 300 degrees for 30 minutes on cookie sheet. Combine catsup and sugar, spoon over chestnuts. Bake 1/2 hour more at 350 degrees.
