GEORGIA PASTA SALAD 
1 (5 to 6 oz.) pkg. pasta
1/2 c. celery, diced
1/2 c. olives, sliced
1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. water chestnuts, sliced

SAUCE:

3/4 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Cook pasta according to package directions and drain. Rinse with cold water. (For more color use multi-colored pasta). Combine pasta, celery, olives, mushrooms and water chestnuts. Combine all ingredients listed under "sauce". Pour over pasta mixture and toss until coated. Cover and chill. Cooked meat such as pepperoni, flaked crab or shrimp may be added to make a main dish. Great for summer when one needs a fast, easy meal. Serves 4 to 6.
