SCALLOPED SCALLOPS 
1 lb. scallops
1/2 c. butter
1 c. Ritz crackers
1/2 c. bread crumbs
2/3 c. cream or milk
Salt
Pepper

Wash and pick over scallops. Melt butter; add cracker crumbs and bread crumbs. Put a layer of crumbs in bottom of a greased 2-quart baking dish. Add half the scallops, half the cream and seasonings. Repeat. Top with rest of crumbs. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 25 minutes - no more or less! Serves 4.
