BEEF ROAST | |
2 to 3 lb. chuck, boneless roast 6 med. Irish potatoes 1 lb. carrots, cut up, fresh or frozen 1 can cream of celery soup 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix Salt & pepper to taste Cook roast in crock pot on low - overnight. Remove roast from pot. Mix liquid in pot with soup and Lipton mix, then pour over roast, after returning to pot. Peel and quarter potatoes and add to pot along with carrots. Cook 3 to 4 more hours on low setting. If no crock pot - use small roaster pan and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours with 1/2 cup water. Add other ingredients then cook 1 more hour. Serves 6 to 8. |
