1 can apple pie filling (any fruit filling will do)
1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 stick butter
1 c. coconut (optional)

Spread pie filling in pan. Sprinkle dry cake mix over filling. Cut butter in patties and place over dry mix. Sprinkle coconut on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
