2 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter or Crisco
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. cold coffee
2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. raisins
2 eggs
2 c. raw apples, chopped
3 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Cream together shortening and sugar. Add eggs beaten and cold coffee. Sift together flour, spices and soda. Add to mixture. Stir in raisins and apples. Spoon into 9 x 15 inch pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over top. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool.
