2 c. sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. Wesson oil
3 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. chopped apples
1 c. pecans or walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour tube pan. Mix sugar, oil and eggs. Sift together flour, salt, soda and cinnamon. Mix together. Add apples and nuts. Stir in vanilla. Bake in prepared pan 1 hour and 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
