2 c. Herman
2 c. sifted plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. raisins (optional) boiled and drained
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 eggs
2/3 c. cooking oil
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. sugar

Mix above ingredients and pour into an oblong pan 13 x 9 x 2 inches. Before baking sprinkle on top:

Mix:

1 tbsp. plain flour
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar

Then melt 1/4 cup butter and pour over top. Bake 45 minutes in 325 degree oven. While still warm add icing below:

1 1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. butter
Enough milk to drizzle over cake
