EGGNOG COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. eggnog
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. finely ground nuts

Cream shortening, sugars, vanilla, egg and eggnog. Sift together flour, soda, salt and nutmeg; then add to sugar mixture. Add nuts. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 10 to 12 minutes.
