CHERRY WINK COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. chopped bottle cherries
2 1/2 c. crushed corn flakes

Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together. Cream butter and sugar; beat in an egg at a time. Add milk and vanilla. Add sifted dry ingredients, nuts, dates and cherries.

Beat well. Crush corn flakes into large shallow pan; drop spoonfuls of cookie dough into flakes and roll. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. Yields: 5 dozen cookies.
