CRANBERRY APPLE CRUMBLE 
4 c. sliced peeled tart apples
3/4 c. chopped cranberries
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Whipped topping

Place apples and cranberries in greased 6x10x2 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with granulated sugar and cinnamon. Let stand until sugar dissolves, then stir to mix.

Meanwhile, beat brown sugar, butter, flour and nutmeg at low speed until crumbly; stir half into fruit and sprinkle rest on top. Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour. Serve warm with topping. Serves 6.
