LO - TO - NO CHOLESTEROL PATTIES | |
1 lb. ground white turkey meat (raw) 1 c. mashed potatoes (plain) 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp. sweet red pimentos, chopped Salt & pepper to taste 1/2 c. egg beaters (equal 2 eggs) 8 oz. cranberry sauce You can use any of the cran - fruit or plain cranberry - whole berry or jell. Blend all above except cranberry sauce. Spray a large no stick skillet with vegetable cooking baking spray. Make turkey mix into 6 or 8 patties and cook slowly until brown, turn. If they tend to stick: Mix 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon in 2/3 cup water and drizzle around edge of pan and patties. Cook at least 20 minutes a side. In small saucepan melt cranberry and add a little water to make a runny sauce. Drizzle over patties while cooking second side. |
