BANANA BREAD 
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 medium ripe bananas
1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs, mashed bananas, milk and nuts. Add alternately to the flour mixture. When well blended, pour into a greased bread pan and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
