WHOLE WHEAT BANANA BREAD 
1 c. whole wheat flour
1/2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. mashed banana
1/4 c. buttermilk

Combine flour, soda and salt. Stir well and set aside. Combine butter and sugar; cream mixture until light and fluffy. Add egg and mix well. Combine bananas and buttermilk; add to creamed mixture and mix. Pour mixture into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees until done. Cool 10 minutes in pan and remove to wire rack and cool completely. Yields 1 loaf.
