GRANDMA'S CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 c. chocolate chips
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. walnuts

Cream butter and sugars. Add egg and vanilla to mixture and cream. In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Pour drying ingredients into sugar mixture and mix thoroughly. Add chocolate chips and walnuts; mix. Store in refrigerator overnight. Drop in teaspoons onto greased baking sheets and bake at 375 degrees until done, between 8-12 minutes.
