PEACH COBBLER 
Serve hot or cold, plain or with ice cream or topping.

4 to 6 sliced fresh peaches
sugar, for sprinkling
cinnamon, for sprinkling
nutmeg, for sprinkling
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
1 large egg, beaten
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter

Sprinkle sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg over peaches. Toss to mix. Place in a shallow 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.

Mix flour, sugar egg to a crumb-like texture. Pour over peaches. Melt butter and drizzle over crumb topping.

Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until top turns slightly brown and crusty.

Serves 6 to 8.
