CHEESE AND PASTA IN A POT | |
2 lbs. lean ground beef 2 med. onions 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 jar (14 oz.) spaghetti sauce 1 can sliced mushrooms 8 oz. shell macaroni 1 1/2 pts. sour cream 1 pkg. sliced Provolone cheese 1 pkg. Mozzarella cheese Fry beef, crumble, drain. Add onions, garlic, sauce, mushrooms and mix well. Simmer 20 minutes. Cook macaroni shells according to package directions. Pour 1/2 shells in deep casserole dish, cover with 1/2 meat-tomato sauce. Spread 1/2 of sour cream over sauce. Top with slices of Provolone cheese. Repeat process ending with Mozzarella cheese. Cover casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Remove cover until cheese melts and browns slightly. |
