SALSA SAUCE 
18 c. tomatoes, chopped
2 or 3 lg. onions, chopped
6 tbsp. white vinegar
1 whole stalk celery, chopped
6 med. green peppers, chopped
6 med. chunks garlic, chopped
3 tbsp. canning salt
4 tbsp. sugar

Simmer 30 to 45 minutes, stirring to prevent scorching. Bring to a full boil and add 5 tablespoons cornstarch dissolved in water. Mix constantly. Seal in jars and boil in water for 30 minutes. Makes 9 pints.
