CHOCOLATE NUT CRUNCH 
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tube saltine crackers (40)

Line cookie sheet with heavy duty foil. Place saltines, side by side, to cover bottom of pan. Melt butter and sugar in saucepan and boil 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and mix well. Spoon hot mix over crackers until covered. Bake at 375 degree oven for 8 minutes. Remove from oven, let sit for 1 minute.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and let melt. Spread melted chocolate. Sprinkle nuts on top. Refrigerate 1 hour (until firm). Peel off foil and break into chunks.
