PASTA AND BROCCOLI 
1 lb. twists or elbow macaroni
1 lg. bunch fresh broccoli, cut up
3 cloves chopped garlic
1/2 c. olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste

Blanch broccoli in boiling salted water for 5 minutes. Drain and let stand. Brown garlic in hot olive oil, discard garlic, saving oil. Cook pasta according to package directions. Combine oil, pasta and broccoli, toss. May be served hot or cold. Serves 4-6.
