WALDORF TOSS | |
1 (8 serving) pkg. or 2 (4 serving) pkg. sugar free cherry Jello or any red flavor Dash of salt 1 1/2 c. boiling water 1 c. cold water Ice cubes 1 c. diced peeled or unpeeled apple or pear 2 sm. bananas, sliced or diced 1/2 c. sliced celery 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional) Completely dissolve gelatin and salt in boiling water. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 2 1/2 cups. Add to gelatin, stirring until slightly thickened. If necessary, remove any unmelted ice. Fold in fruits and celery. Spoon into individual dishes or a bowl. Chill until set, at least 1 hour. Makes 5 cups or 10 servings. 35 calories per serving without nuts. |
