SOUR CREAM TWISTS 
3 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening (part butter)
1 c. sour cream
1 egg & 2 yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. yeast
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Cut shortening into flour and salt, leaving some lumps. Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water. Add yeast, sour cream, eggs and vanilla; mix well. Set in refrigerator for several hours. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 1 cup cinnamon-sugar on bread board. Roll out dough to 8"x16" and fold envelope style and roll again. Do this 3 times or until sugar is all rolled in. Cut into 1" wide strips (4" to 5" long). Twist and put on cookie sheet. Let rise 20 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
