ONION PIE CASSEROLE 
1/4 c. butter
3 c. thinly sliced onions
2 c. sharp cheese, grated
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
3 beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Crust:

30 crushed saltines
1/2 c. butter

Make crust of crackers and butter. Use 9-inch pie pan. Sauté onions in 1/4 cup butter until brown. Put onions on crust top with cheese. Mix milk, eggs, salt and pepper and pour mixture.

Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
