BLACKBERRY COBBLER 
2 c. blackberries
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 c. milk

Pour sugar on berries and let stand. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together and add milk. Pour over berries. Bake in 8 x 8 inch pan for 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Any berries or canned fruit may be used. Double recipe Mom's glass pan (8 1/2 x 13 1/2 inch).
