HUNGARIAN GOULASH 
1/4 c. shortening
2 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 c. onion, sliced
1/8 tsp. garlic
3/4 c. catsup
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
Dash of cayenne red pepper
1 1/2 c. water

Melt shortening in large skillet. Cook and stir meat, onion and garlic in shortening until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat. Stir remaining ingredients. Cover tightly. Simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Serve over egg noodles.
