KEY LIME PIE | |
28 oz. sweetened condensed milk 2 egg yolks 3/4 c. lime juice 1/2 c. whipped cream 1 (9 inch) pre-baked pie or graham cracker shell Combine the sweetened condensed milk and the beaten egg yolks. Gradually add the lime juice and mix thoroughly. Fill the pre-baked pie shell with the mixture. Bake in a 350 degrees oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not allow it to brown. Then chill the pie in the refrigerator at least 2 hours. Whip the cream and then garnish with rosettes of whipped cream. |
