1 c. sugar 1/2 c. butter 1/3 c. milk 1 c. pumpkin puree (canned) 1 c. flour 1/2 c. wheat germ 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 c. butterscotch bits 1 c. chopped walnuts 1/2 tsp. each allspice, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg Mix flour, wheat germ, salt, baking soda and spices in bowl; stir well. Cream sugar, butter and milk. Add pumpkin puree. Mix dry and creamed mixtures together. Add butterscotch bits and walnuts. Drop on greased sheet by teaspoon. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Yield: 2 to 2 1/2 dozen. |
