GOULASH | |
1 lg. onion, sliced 1/4 c. oil 2 green peppers, chopped 3 tomatoes, chopped 1 tbsp. paprika 1 tsp. salt 3 peppercorns 1 1/2 lbs. chuck, cubed 4 potatoes, peeled, cubed Saute the onion in oil until transparent. Add tomatoes and peppers. Add seasonings and simmer 10 minutes. Add meat and simmer over low heat for 2 hours. One half hour before meat is finished, add the potatoes and simmer the last half hour. Serves 6. |
