HAM AND CHEESE STRATA 
12 slices white bread
2 c. (1/2 lb.) shredded cheddar cheese
6 thin slices boiled ham or left over ham
4 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. instant minced onion
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Arrange half of the bread slices in bottom of greased, shallow baking dish, cutting slices to fit (crusts removed). Sprinkle cheese over bread and top with ham. Place remaining bread slices on top of ham. Combine eggs, milk, salt and pepper, mustard, onion and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Pour mixture over bread slices. Cover with aluminum foil. Chill several hours or overnight. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake one hour or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Serves 6. Bake in a 2 quart baking dish.
