PEANUT BUTTER AND OATMEAL
COOKIES
 
1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter
3/4 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. water
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. crystal wedding oats, uncooked
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Beat sugar, peanut butter and butter until fluffy. Blend in water, egg and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients. Mix well, chill 1 hour.

Heat oven to 350. Shape dough to form 1 1/2 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie pan. Flatten slightly with bottom of glass. Bake 12 to 14 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
