BANANA NUT CAKE 
1/4 lb. butter
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Wesson oil
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. seedless raisins (soak in cold water, drain)
1 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
6 ripe bananas, smashed
1/2 scant tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda

Cream together butter and sugar. Add other ingredients. Bake in ungreased angel food cake pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 1 1/2 hours. Test with cake tester. When cake tester comes out clean, cake is done. Dust with powdered sugar (optional).
