BARBECUED RIBS
1/2 c. ketchup
1/2 c. orange or apple juice
2 tbsp. cider vinegar
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1 tbsp. packed brown dark sugar
1 clove garlic, pressed or finely chopped
1/4 to 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
2 lbs. pork loin back ribs

1. Combine all ingredients, except ribs, in a 1 quart glass bowl. Microwave, uncovered, at High (100%) for 6 minutes, stirring twice. Set aside.

2. Cut ribs into 3-4 serving pieces. Arrange in a 10 inch round baking dish, overlapping slightly. Cover and microwave at Medium-High (70%) for 16 to 19 minutes. Drain off juices. Pour barbecue sauce over ribs.

3. Microwave, uncovered, at Medium-High (70%) for 14-18 minutes or until ribs are tender. Rearrange ribs and baste with sauce after 9 minutes cooking time. Makes 2-3 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
