MANDARIN ORANGE SALAD 
2 cans mandarin oranges
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can chunk pineapple
1 (6 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (12 oz.) cottage cheese (small curd)
1 (3 oz.) orange Jello

Drain 2 cans mandarin oranges. Drain chunk pineapple. If fruit is not drained completely salad will be runny. Pat dry with paper towels. In large bowl, mix Cool Whip and cottage cheese. Add Jello (dry). Fold in drained fruit and refrigerate or can be served immediately. Serves 6. Green Jello is very pretty at Christmas.
