MAPLE-WALNUT STICKY BUNS
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. maple syrup
3/4 c. chopped walnuts
2 1/2 c. flour
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. softened butter
2/3 c. warm water
2 eggs

To prepare pan, melt 1/4 cup butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar and maple syrup. Heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Pour into pan and sprinkle with 1/2 cup walnuts. In mixing bowl, stir together 3/4 cup flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add butter and water. Beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and 1/4 cup more flour. Beat 2 minutes.

Stir in enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead 10 minutes. Roll dough to a rectangle. Spread lightly with maple syrup and sprinkle with remaining nuts. Roll up into a 9 inch roll. Pinch seam to seal. Cut into 9 (1 inch) slices and arrange, cut side up, in prepared pan. Cover lightly with plastic wrap. Let rise in warm place for about 1 1/4 hours. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand in pan 10 minutes. Turn out on large plate to cool.
