JOAN'S CRUNCH COOKIES | |
2 sticks butter, softened 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 3/4 c. white sugar 1 3/4 c. brown sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda About 2 c. flour, sifted Chocolate chips Honey roasted peanuts, crushed Cream butter and eggs until fluffy. Add vanilla. Gradually add sugar, salt, baking soda and then the flour. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Drop by ice cream scoop and leave plenty of room between them because they spread out a lot and bubbly as they cook. Bake approximately 10 to 12 minutes. Let set on cookie sheet to harden a little. Do not let them cool too much or you'll have trouble getting them off. These are not chocolate chips cookies, they are brittle and almost like candy and very thin. |
