2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. light Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
2 egg whites
1 c. pecans

Mix sugar, water, Karo. Cook on medium heat until mixture forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water. Beat egg whites until firm. add syrup mixture to egg whites. Beat until loses gloss. Add vanilla and pecans. Drop on waxed paper.
