PASTA AND BEEF OVEN STEW 
1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lb. beef in 1 inch cubes
2 tbsp. oil
1 med. onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
4 drops Tabasco
8 oz. can tomato sauce
8 oz. ziti or other large macaroni
1 c. prunes, halved

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Shake beef with 1 teaspoon salt and flour. Heat oil. Brown beef. Add onion, garlic, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, oregano, Tabasco, tomato sauce and enough hot water to cover 1 inch above meat, about 3 cups. Cover. Bake 2 hours. Remove from oven. Add ziti and prunes. Add enough hot water to cover, about 2 cups. Cover. Bake 1 hour.
