WHITE BUTTERMILK CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs

Cream butter, sugar and eggs. Mix flour and dry ingredients. Gradually add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Bake at 350 degrees, in greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan, for 35 to 40 minutes.
