WHOLE WHEAT BREAD 
2 c. milk, scalded and cooled
1 pkg. yeast in 1/4 c. warm water
2 tbsp. shortening
2 tbsp. molasses
2 tbsp. honey or brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
Salt
2 c. whole wheat flour
White flour

Add enough white flour to knead until bread is smooth and elastic. Put in greased pan and rise 1 1/2 hours. Knead down and let rise again. Put into pans. Let rise and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes 2 loaves.
