ESCALLOPED PINEAPPLE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
4 c. fresh white bread, torn into pieces
1 no. 2 1/2 sized can crushed pineapple
Milk, just a bit
3 eggs

Slightly drain pineapple. Mix sugar, eggs, bread and pineapple. Add just enough milk to moisten well. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Serves 6. A light fancy dessert.
