CORNBREAD DRESSING | |
9 c. crumbled cornbread 2 c. soft bread crumbs 1/2 c. butter, melted 1/2 c. turkey or chicken broth (you will probably want to use more) 2 c. diced celery 1/2 c. diced onion 2 tsp. salt 1 1/2 tsp. sage 1 tsp. pepper 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 2 beaten eggs 1 1/2 c. water or giblet broth Mix well. Pour into greased 8x10 pan. Cook at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. (I like to boil the onions and celery with the turkey neck.) |
