CHESS PIE 
1/2 c. softened butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. all-purpose flour
4 egg yolks
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shell

Cream sugar, butter, and flour together as for a cake. Mix in eggs. Add milk, vanilla, and nutmeg. Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
