CINNAMON BISCUITS WITH GLAZE 
2 1/2 c. biscuit mix
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
1 egg, beaten
2/3 c. milk
Vanilla Glaze

Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl; add egg and milk, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead 4 or 5 times. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Brush biscuit with Vanilla Glaze. Yield: 1 1/2 dozen.

VANILLA GLAZE:

2/3 c. sifted powdered sugar
1 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine all ingredients. Makes about 1/4 cup.
