3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sour cream

Mix together flour, soda and salt. In separate bowl, cream together butter, sugar, sour cream, egg and vanilla. Add together. Roll out on flour counter top to 1/4 inch thick. Cut out. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Yields about 2 1/2 dozen 2 to 3 inch cookies. Can be used to make different shape. May top with frostings or sprinkles.
