HOT MULLED CIDER 
2 qts. apple cider
1/4 c. brown sugar
6 whole cloves
6 sticks cinnamon
1 sweet orange, thinly sliced
2 thin slices lemon

Combine ingredients in a large boiler or crock pot and heat at low temperature for 3 to 4 hours. Serve hot. Keeps well in refrigerator about a week. Can be reheated a cup at a time in the microwave. Delicious during the winter holidays and your house smells great while it simmers.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
