MOTHERS CHEESE CAKE 
Crust:

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp. milk

Mix and blend flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and butter as for a pie crust. Add egg yolk and milk. Mix and line a 9x12-inch greased pan.

Filling:

2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 lb. dry cottage cheese
1 c. sugar and 2 tbsp. cornstarch (combined)
3 eggs
1 c. milk
3 to 4 tbsp. lemon juice
cinnamon, for sprinkling

Put butter in cottage cheese, add sugar and cornstarch. Mix with a fork. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add milk and lemon juice. Pour into crust lined pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until set.
