IOWA CORN BREAD | |
1 cup yellow cornmeal 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 1/3 cup oil 1 egg 1 cup milk Combine dry ingredients in bowl and mix well. Combine oil, egg and milk together. Mix well. Stir into dry ingredients until just blended. Pour into well buttered 8-inch square pan. Bake at 400°F for 24 minutes or until done. |
