SQUASH RELISH 
6 lg. squash
2 sweet peppers
1/4 c. salt
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. celery seed
4 onions
2 hot peppers
2 c. vinegar
2 tsp. turmeric

Grind squash, sweet and hot peppers and onions in food chopper. Sprinkle with salt. Cover with ice water and let stand 1 hour. Drain well. Mix sugar, vinegar, turmeric, and celery seed. Put in pot and let come to a boil. Add squash and simmer for 3 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
