CINNAMON ROLLS 
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Knead dough until it holds shape. Flatten out with rolling pin (like a pie crust).

Rub 2 tablespoons soft butter all over dough. In separate bowl mix 1/4 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cinnamon together. Sprinkle about half this amount all over dough. Roll up dough and cut into 12 sections and put on cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees for about 15 minutes.

FROSTING:

3 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
About 1 tbsp. milk

In small saucepan, heat butter over medium heat until a delicate brown. Mix in sugar. Stir in vanilla and milk until frosting is smooth and of spreading consistency.
